The TMA Mustangs Robotics Team has reached the end of an exciting and rewarding season, and the growth shown by our students has been truly inspiring.
Across two development cycles and two tournaments, students demonstrated strong engagement, collaboration, and perseverance. With each competition, the team showed clear growth in confidence, problem solving, and teamwork, hallmarks of a Montessori education. The progress made from the first event to the second reflects students’ ability to learn from experience, reflect, and apply new understanding.
Robotics fits naturally within the Montessori approach. Students worked through real world challenges, collaborated across roles, and took ownership of their learning. The season emphasized curiosity, independence, and purposeful work, giving students meaningful opportunities to practice critical thinking and resilience in an authentic setting.
The school community is grateful for the many individuals who supported the team throughout the season. Coaches, mentors, and supporters played an essential role in guiding and encouraging students, and special recognition goes to student mentors Daniel and Henry for their leadership and commitment.
As the season concludes, students will celebrate together with an end of season gathering in January. Looking ahead, future after school offerings are expected to continue in a workshop style format, providing flexible, hands on learning opportunities that build on this year’s success.
Thank you to the families and supporters who made this journey possible and helped create such a meaningful experience for the 2025 TMAEL Mustangs FLL Team 69290.
