The All School Picnic
A back-to-school event on the lawn. This is an old-fashioned family picnic day with field games, sports equipment, inflatables and child-friendly playground equipment. Bring your picnic, lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon with your children's school friends.Grandparents' and Special Friends' Day
Students look forward to this day every year! Grandparents and/or special friends are invited to a continental breakfast followed by a performance and a tour of the classroom by the best tour guides - our students!Winter Sing-Along
A festive gathering in the gym with all students and families, usually on the last day of school before Winter Break. This is a multi-cultural celebration of the many traditions and cultures represented at The Montessori Academy!STEAM Science Expo
An annual event for all of our students, required for Upper Elementary and Junior High students. Students proudly display their science projects and present them to interested parents and friends. A learning experience for all!Parent Breakfast
Kindergarten / Elementary / Junior High Parent Breakfast occurs in your child’s classroom. Children host their parents and share their classroom experience.Mother's Day Tea
An Early Childhood celebration of mothers. Students specially prepare their classroom and enjoy a tea time with their mothers.- Soccer
The Montessori Academy soccer program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary (fourth through sixth grades) and Junior High. Our co-ed Mustang soccer teams play in a league of other small private schools. Our practices and games are during the week, with an occasional tournament on the weekends.
Cross Country
The Montessori Academy cross country program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary (fourth through sixth grades) and Junior High. Our co-ed Mustang cross country team competes with area elementary and middle schools. Meets are during the week as well as one or two Saturdays. Everybody participates at every meet!
Track
The Montessori Academy track program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary (fourth through sixth grades) and Junior High. Our co-ed Mustang track team competes with area elementary and middle schools. Meets are during the week as well as one or two Saturdays. Everybody participates at every meet!
Girls Basketball
The Montessori Academy girls basketball program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary and Junior High. Our Mustang basketball teams play in a league of other small, private schools. Our practices and games are during the week, with an occasional tournament on the weekends.
Boys Basketball
The Montessori Academy boys basketball program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary and Junior High. Our Mustang basketball teams compete with area elementary and junior high school programs. Our practices and games are during the week, with an occasional tournament on the weekends.
Volleyball
The Montessori Academy volleyball program is offered at two levels: Upper Elementary (fourth through sixth grades) and Junior High. Our Mustang volleyball teams play in a league of other small private schools. Our practices and games are during the week, with an occasional tournament on the weekends. Fall Frolic
This is a big event for TMA with a festival atmosphere! Our 20th annual Fall Frolic is a fundraiser for our classroom at the Center for the Homeless. It is a 5K run, 5K walk, and 1K fun run for kids.Shop Local Expo
Local businesses around town, from direct sales to local shops, are invited to join our expo leading into the Holidays. There is a small registration fee for businesses but is FREE for shoppers!Windfall Gala
Every spring, TMA has its annual fundraising gala called Windfall. This year, Windfall will also be our 50th birthday celebration! It will be dinner, drinks, dancing, and bidding on silent and live items at the Century Center – it’s a guaranteed good time.
