At TMA, we are fortunate to have a richly diverse student body through which cross-cultural understanding is forged. From differences in ethnicity, religion, family makeup, sexual identity, abilities, and socioeconomic status, we seek not only to respect our differences but to celebrate them. We understand that, while we may have cultural differences, our shared values of grace, courtesy, peace, respect and inclusivity are what unite us. All students of different backgrounds and abilities experience equity in education because of a shared respect for learning and an environment in which ideas are freely exchanged. TMA utilizes our differences to engage and educate through programs like the Holiday Sing, our International Festival and our classroom at the South Bend Center for the Homeless. Throughout our curriculum, we demonstrate a willingness to learn about and from one another, further emphasizing the ways in which we are all part of a vibrant community and world.
