Dear Parents of Students in Lower Elementary Room 105,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at The Montessori Academy! Back to school is such an exciting time for everyone! I am looking forward to another great year in Room 105. Please review the documents below and return all forms to the office no later than Friday, August 16th.
My name is Lisa Bujtas (BOY-dis) and this is my third year as the lead teacher in Room 105. I recently graduated from Trine University with a Masters Degree in Montessori Elementary Education where I also earned my Montessori credential. Before teaching at The Montessori Academy, I taught 2nd, 4th and 6th grades at School City of Mishawaka and also served as their Reading Interventionist. I was a TMA parent from 1994-2011 and held the position of Reading Interventionist at TMA from 2009-2011. All three of my children attended The Montessori Academy.
I look forward to visiting with new and returning students and their families during our Open Class Visit on Friday, August 16th. Please feel free to stop in anytime between 9 and 11 a.m. that morning. Also, plan to join us on Wednesday, August 21st at 6:00 p.m. for our All Parent Back-to-School Meeting. That night, after a brief session in the gym, parents will break out to individual classrooms to hear important details.
