Dear Parents of Students in Lower Elementary Room 107,
 
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at The Montessori Academy!  Please review the documents below and return all forms to the office no later than Friday, August 11th.  

My name is Sammy Yant and I will be a new Lead Teacher in TMA's Lower Elementary program.  I'm so excited to get started and share in the process of learning with our students.  With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, I have now also completed classwork for my Montessori Lower Elementary credential and for a Master's Degree in Montessori Education.

I'm now very excited to be back in an elementary classroom.  Our room is being prepared with new works and is awaiting our returning students to be joined by some fresh new faces.  I'm sure our returning friends will be eager to renew old friendships and make new ones after a relaxing summer.  We will work hard, challenge each other, build teamwork skills, and have a great year!

Please mark your calendar for our Open Class Visit on Friday, August 18th and drop in for a short visit anytime between 9:00 and 11 a.m.  This visit time is for Parents and Students.  Also, plan to join us on Wednesday, August 23rd at 6:00 p.m. for our All Parent Back-to-School Meeting.  This is a parent-only meeting.  Childcare will be provided, if needed.  That night, after a brief session in the gym, parents will break out to individual classrooms to hear important details.
