For returning families, first let me thank you for continuing to place your trust in us. You know TMA to be a community of people with a common purpose. Your kind support helps sustain us, and allows our wonderful staff to support all students at a high level, even in trying times. Ours is a community that works together to guide our children in their development, and we thank you for your continued partnership. For our new families, I believe you'll find that you're joining a warm and committed community. We welcome you!
Just a little over 60 years after Maria Montessori opened her first Montessori school, Casa dei Bambini, or Children's House, our Early Childhood program began as Little Flower Montessori. Now, more than 50 years later at The Montessori Academy, we are stronger than ever, continuing to guide students to become the best versions of themselves.
TMA is truly an enriching place to be, and not just for our students. So to you and all of your family members, I encourage you to spend time with us through volunteering in one or more of the many opportunities offered through our Montessori community. You'll be happy you did.
As we begin another school year, we will continue pursuing the primary goal of guiding our students toward the realization that they are valued and capable. Maria Montessori believed that our children are "both a hope and promise for humankind." All of us at TMA share in that belief.
Once again, welcome and thank you for being a part of The Montessori Academy community. I hope to see you around campus.
With deep appreciation,
Randy Kelly
Head of School
